Life's A Beach!

We spent last week in Galveston with Gee and Paw (my parents) and the kids had a BLAST!!! We did too!

This was our second annual trip. We go to Galveston and stay the week of Spencer's and Paw's birthdays (three days apart). This picture is from our first time out to the beach. This was Jack's first time to see the sand and water (he was too young last year (or so we thought!)). He LOVED the beach!

Jack drove this truck in and out of the water and all around in the sand for days! He would just run free and push the truck! He was having the time of his life!

Claire never wanted to leave the beach! She could have stayed 2 more weeks, I think! She loved digging in the sand, getting all "dirty" (sandy) and going in the water and washing off! I had to BEG her to come in our last evening on the beach...she didn't want to leave!

Daddy spent his time digging moats for sand castles....he loved every minute of it!

I even found a sanddollar in the Gulf of Mexico! A whole one, not just a piece. I met a nice lady at the pool (from Houston, lives in Jersey Village) and she taught me how to find them in the afternoon at low tide! How cool is that????

Daddy took today off, so after "working" on chores in the morning, it was POOL time after nap! The kids insisted on wearing their hats in the pool, just like Daddy. When I looked outside as I was cleaning up the dinner dishes, I couldn't resist the picture! Me and his minis!!!! How cute is this??? We leave for Galveston on Sunday and won't return for a week! I'll blog when I get back, letting you all know about our beach adventures! Stay cool....

Cousin Camp in Wimberely, Texas!

We were in Wimberely, Texas last week with Aunt Leslie, Uncle Dan, Justin, Faith, Hannah and Sarah! It was our first cousin camp! We were busy shopping, swimming and seeing the sights of Wimberely! We even were treated to a fashion show by our own DIVAS!!! Here are just a sample of our activities! Daddy stayed home to work and ride out the storm!

The Boy LOVES Cars...just like Daddy!

Spencer and I were outside in the 100 plus degree heat taking pictures of the Honda, and Jack was busy "driving" it! The boy "drives" everything!!!! Even chicken nuggets in ketchup. I never knew that chicken nuggets had car sounds! The third picture is the reaction AFTER a melt down that resulted from him being told "drive time" was over. The boy LOVES cars and driving....just like Daddy!

Claire has had a fever virus for 2 days. No other symptoms, just fever....she is better now and got a new haircut today. Just a trim, but looks soooo gorgeous!!!
